As many people, I used to sit every January 1st to write New Year Resolutions in forgotten journals. Just out of good faith. Out of habit. Out of hope perhaps. They'd get lost. Never fulfilled with the excuse of a hectic mind.
Then I started bullet journalling and fell in love with specifics. I started setting SMART goals for myself and since we are officially in February, we can say we are past the expiry date for NY Resolutions and that every oath made past this point, is meant to be kept.
The start of a new year is always magic to me, a naive hope that we can all press a button to switch things up. Every year, I commit to reset everything. Life Vision, yearly goals, visions board and I even pick a word that is going to encompass my focus for the next 12 months. 2020's word was honesty, and maybe I'll confess how I embraced it fully in an another post.
For 2021, I chose the word "create". Something I haven't embraced fully in probably years but that I have felt the longing to for a while now. All the goals I have chosen for my year are somehow connected to that word. We are all about alignment in this house.
Here are some goals I set for myself this year:

1. Get my ass back to Toronto.
2. Get my Canadian Permanent Residence.
3. Write in my 5 Minutes Journal every single day.
4. Gratitude first always.
